The mark

A C that starts at a dot and opens onto a chevron: a path from where you are to where you're going.

Using it

Clear space and size

Leave space around the mark at least as wide as the chevron. Don't show the mark smaller than 16 px tall on screen; below about 24 px, use the icon (the mark on its navy tile) instead.

On dark backgrounds

On navy, the mark can take a soft blue and mint glow, as on the link-preview card. It doesn't need one on white.

Please don't

  • Recolour the mark or swap the gradient direction
  • Stretch, squash, or rotate it
  • Add drop shadows, outlines, or bevels
  • Put it on busy photos or low-contrast backgrounds
  • Rebuild it from a different font or shape
  • Separate the chevron or the dot from the C

The name

ClearPath: one word, capital C and capital P. Not "Clear Path", "Clearpath", or "CLEARPATH". When describing it, keep it plain: it's a free, open-source browser extension that makes websites easier to read.
